Stainless Steel Sink Manufacturers Teaches You To Fix Discoloration

Rust discoloration reduces the aesthetic appeal of stainless steel sinks. Although stainless steel sinks naturally resist corrosion, exposure to chlorine bleach, caustic acids and steel wool cleaning pads can cause the steel in stainless steel, nickel and chromium to discolor due to rust. Rust can also develop in scratches or other parts of bare water exposed to water, oxygen, and carbon dioxide. Timely fix the discolored stainless steel sink to restore the sink to a bright, smooth appearance.

Afastainlesskb Stainless Steel Sink Manufacturers reminds you to need to prepare the following things

Non-bleach commercial household cleaners, 2 types of microfiber cleaning cloths, white vinegar, synthetic scouring pads, terry towels.

Specific steps are as follows:

1. Spray non-bleached household cleaner on the entire sink. Use cleaner according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Moisten the microfiber cleaning cloth with warm water. Wipe the wet cloth over the entire sink to remove any accumulated food particles, gravel and debris. Try to remove rust stains.

2. Rinse the sink with fresh warm water to wash away the detergent and loose dirt.

Put white vinegar on the synthetic scouring pad. Scrub the remaining discoloration with a pad until the rust disappears. Along the lines of stainless steel, scratches are prevented.

3. Saturate the second microfiber cleaning cloth with warm water. Wipe the entire sink with a cloth to wash vinegar, rust residues and any harmful deposits.

4. Apply a terry cloth over the sink to increase shine and prevent mineral stains.
