Stainless Steel Handmade Sink Manufacturers Introduces The Production Process Of The Sink

AFA Stainless Steel Handmade Sink Manufacturers will give you a brief introduction to the production process of stainless steel sinks. The production of stainless steel sinks generally includes the selection of raw materials, production and manufacturing processes, and surface treatment. Generally, these three steps are required. The selection of raw materials and The production process is the most important.

1. Selection of raw materials:

At present, the stainless steel raw materials commonly used by domestic stainless steel sink manufacturers are 0.8-1.2MM thick stainless steel plates. This thickness is most suitable for producing sinks. If the sheet is too thin, it will affect the service life and strength of the sink. If it is too thick, it is easy to damage the washed dishes.

2. Production process:

The main is the processing technology of stainless steel sinks and basins. There are two main types, one-shot molding and welding.

Welding method: The groove surface and the body are punched separately, and then the two are connected by welding to fill and polish the surface of the weld. Generally, no traces of welding can be seen on the front appearance. This production and processing method has a simple process, which can be achieved by small stamping equipment and simple molds. Generally, stainless steel plates of about 0.5-0.8MM are used. This processing method has less loss during production and the cost is relatively low, so this The price of stainless steel sink produced by this method is relatively low.

One-shot molding method: This treatment method is a stainless steel sink formed by pressing a single piece of material. The processing equipment and mold requirements are relatively high. Because one-shot molding has high requirements on the quality and ductility of the sheet, 0.8 is generally used. -1.2MM thick stainless steel plate is stamped, using the overall mold, imported stamping equipment. Because of the large cutting loss of the edge of the plate in the production of the one-shot molding method, and the high investment in molds and equipment, the cost is relatively high, so the stainless steel sink produced by this method is more expensive.

3. Surface treatment:

There are also many surface treatment methods for stainless steel sinks, mainly matte, brushed, frosted, etc. Because of these surface treatments, the sink can be kept new forever. Of course, the premise is to keep the stainless steel sink clean.
